Interesting Cambridge Constabulary FOI...

I see that plod here don't even bother to record how many times cyclists complain of being intimidated on the roads.

They also don't have much data on clear-up rate for cycle theft, which I suspect is shockingly low.

They can however rapidly tell us how many car drivers have had things thrown at them.

Bottom line? Policing in Cambridgeshire isn't FOR cyclists. They don't even bother to record how rubbish they've been on our behalf. Policing in Cambridgeshire is purely OF cyclists.

Cambridgeshire Constabulary: Proudly supporting the motoring lobby.

  1. As I've said often, the police couldn't care less about cyclists. In fact, I'm convinced they view as a "extra, unwanted work" at best.
